How we help – medication assistance in elderly care, homecare and healthcare
Q. I seem to have lots of pills prescribed for me and it is sometimes muddling to know what I have to take. Is there a way that my helper can help with this?
A. It is difficult to advise, as this is your, and your doctor/nurse`s, responsibility.
However, we understand that this is a very common problem as we all get older,
and medication is available to help us live comfortably at home. The best we
can do is to help to remind you when to take your medicines and, if your doctor
or nurse agrees and trains your helper, to apply any dressings that you need, or
do any tasks that they consider we are capable of undertaking. We will try our
best to support you to live comfortably at home for as long as you want to. |
