Staying in your home

Q. I don’t want someone staying in my house all the time, but it is sometimes nice if I am not feeling very well.  Can you arrange for this?

A. A helper can sleep in your house, or even, if you need it, remain awake through the night, to ensure that you are safe (for example after a period in hospital). We generally need a few days notice to arrange this but we may be able to respond more quickly if it is urgent. If this becomes a regular need, it may be best to consider having someone living in your home, as a live-in, if only for some weeks until you are more settled.
