What do people think of Home Help?

Mum and the Family are very grateful to Home Help UK for your
assistance and especially for the past year’s care, which gave
mum an extra year of living independently after a fall in March
2006. The carers were all excellent. Karen and Rosina were
particularly helpful. Karen was very good at coping with Mum’s
difficulties as her frailty increased and mum felt very safe. We
always knew that we could rely on your staff to turn up no matter
what difficulties the agency experienced and I know how drastic they
can be sometimes.

Do pass on mums thanks to your staff and we wish you all continuing
success in a difficult and demanding service.

I am writing this note just to say how pleased we are with the young
ladies who come in our home to look after my husband, they are so
polite and the way they go about their work, is comforting they give
confidence to us both they leave everything clean and tidy, the bed made,
we just had to say I think we are so lucky to have them.

As my 88 year-old mother’s only son, living overseas, I place a lot of
trust in the carers who help with her everyday needs.
It’s essential that she has a high quality of care, but equally important that I
have good communication with the carers on whom she relies.
I have a lot of confidence in HHUK. They are a highly professional
organisation with good, dedicated people who genuinely seem to
enjoy their work.
Aside from top level care, they also use their initiative in dealing with the
inevitable everyday issues that can be so daunting to someone of
my mother’s age.  
My mother looks forward to their visits and her outlook has
definitely improved since we started with them.
From my perspective, I find HHUK very easy to deal with despite the distance and
time difference. They keep me informed via e-mail and are quick to respond to my
questions and comments.
For anyone in a similar situation to mine, living overseas with an aged,
dependent relative in the UK, I strongly suggest contacting HHUK.
